Homily for the Ascension of the Lord on May 17, 2026.
The Ascension is not Christ’s departure from the world, but the revelation of his universal kingship. The wounded Shepherd-King reigns from the right hand of the Father, claiming every corner of creation and every hidden part of our lives with mercy, authority, and abiding presence.

Homily for the Sixth Sunday of Easter on May 10, 2026.
Christian witness is not a contest to be won by aggression, but a proclamation of truth given with gentleness and reverence. Only when our words are conformed to Christ’s commandments and our lives are transfigured by the Spirit can we become credible witnesses to the truth that sets man free.

Homily for the Fifth Sunday of Easter on May 3, 2026.
Christ is the cornerstone of the Father’s house, and the Church is built upon Him as a living temple. Our task is to receive the place entrusted to us by Christ within that temple and offer our lives in worship, truth, and charity. Only in doing so will we find the fullness of life.

Every human heart longs for abundance, yet the paths offered by the world leave the soul empty. Christ, the Good Shepherd, leads to true life not merely by cutting away sin, but by filling our lives with God. Through prayer, fasting, and almsgiving, the soul is ordered toward the pasture where it can finally rest.

Christ’s Resurrection does not erase the wounds of the past but transforms them into signs of glory. The Gospel reveals that God is not restoring a former life but bringing about an entirely new one. In Him, even suffering and sin can become the place where divine life breaks forth.

Homily for the Second Sunday of Easter on April 12, 2026.
Christ does not reveal His Resurrection apart from His wounds, but through them, and it is through something visible and concrete that faith is born. What the wounds were for Thomas, the Church is meant to be for the world: a real, embodied place where the risen Christ can be encountered. If that visible life of communion and sacrificial love is absent, then faith becomes unintelligible, and the world has no reason to believe.

Homily for Easter Sunday on April 5, 2026.
The empty tomb is not a place to remain but a sign that Christ has passed beyond death, and He is not found among the places of sin and regret where we continue to search. The Resurrection is believed before it is understood, for it does not merely restore what was lost but opens us to a new participation in the life of God. This life is not grasped by thought but received through encounter, as we leave behind the tombs and step forward to meet the Risen Lord.

Homily for Palm Sunday on March 29, 2026.
The silence of Christ before His accusers is not weakness but judgment. The Word of God allows Himself to be judged so that He may judge the world. On the Cross, the old creation marked by sin, darkness, and death is brought to its end, and a new creation begins to emerge from His death. To follow Him is to descend with Him into that death, so as to rise into the life spoken by the Word of the Father.

Homily for the Fifth Week of Lent on March 22, 2026.
At the raising of Lazarus, Christ is not simply solving a problem, He is revealing the glory of God. This moment exposes a deeper crisis: do we see God as one who serves our lives, or as the One in whom all life finds its meaning? The Gospel calls us to move from a closed, “fleshly” vision of reality to a sacramental vision where even suffering becomes a place of encounter with God and forces us to decide how we will see Him.

Why does the human heart remain restless even when surrounded by the good things of the world? The problem is not that we thirst, but where we try to drink. Only Christ, the true spring of living water, can satisfy the deepest longing of the human soul.
