Homily for the Nineteenth Sunday of Ordinary Time on August 9, 2026.
Spiritual desolation can make God seem absent and the world around us appear dark and hostile. Rather than fleeing or making radical changes, we are called to persevere, allow God to purify our vision, and have the courage to follow when His voice calls us out of the darkness.

Homily for the Fifteenth Sunday of Ordinary Time on July 12, 2026.
Good soil is a soul open to God in obedience, courage, and hope. Such a soul understands that through the Cross and Resurrection Christ transforms suffering from a limitation into a path toward glory, allowing the Word of God to take root and bear abundant fruit.

Homily for the Fourteenth Sunday of Ordinary Time on July 5, 2026.
True peace is not merely the absence of conflict, but the fruit of justice: right relationship with God, neighbor, and society. Christ restores the friendship lost in the garden, teaching us to seek the goods of the Spirit, overcome hatred, and build peace by willing the good of one another.

The Christian life requires the friendship of holy people who have already begun to live what they teach. Their tranquility, simplicity, reverence, and confidence in the victory of the Cross show us how to seek sanctity in the concrete circumstances of daily life.

Christ’s command, “Do not be afraid,” only makes sense if the soul is real and greater than the body. Christians must form the soul through wisdom, penance, courage, and prayer, so that they may acknowledge Him before the world.

God loves all people, but covenant creates a particular relationship of belonging, obedience, and mission. In Christ, the Church becomes God’s covenant people, called to choose life, hold fast to the Lord, and call sinners back into friendship with Him.

The Eucharist is the center of Catholic life because it is Christ Himself: the source of our salvation, sanctification, and worship. Corpus Christi calls us to become a Eucharistic people through reverence, preparation, moral conversion, and adoration.

Homily for Trinity Sunday on May 31, 2026.On Trinity Sunday, the Church contemplates the deepest truth of reality: God is one God in three Persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. This mystery is not an abstract puzzle but the revelation that God is eternal love, and that all creation comes from Love and is sustained by Love. To believe in the Trinity is to recognize that we are made from love, for love, and ultimately for communion with God.

Homily for Pentecost Sunday on May 24, 2026.
At Pentecost, the Holy Spirit is poured out not merely to console the Church, but to make her a bold witness to the Risen Lord. Every true encounter with Christ demands death to the old life, courage before the world, and a willingness to testify that Jesus is Lord even through suffering.
