Homily for the Third Week of Lent on March 8, 2026.
Why does the human heart remain restless even when surrounded by the good things of the world? The problem is not that we thirst, but where we try to drink. Only Christ, the true spring of living water, can satisfy the deepest longing of the human soul.

God’s blessing does not leave us where we are. From Abraham’s call to leave everything behind, to the glory revealed on Mount Tabor, Scripture shows that growth in divine life requires departure, trust, and obedience before understanding. The light of Christ is given not to spare us from the cross, but to strengthen us to walk through it.

Homily for the First Week of Lent on February 22, 2026.
Why does the world feel broken? Why do we long for goodness and harmony, yet encounter chaos and disorder at every level of life? Genesis reveals that sin is a fracture of divine order, a rupture that distorts the soul, our relationships, and even creation itself. In the desert, Christ confronts the author of that chaos and shows that only humble obedience to the Word of God can restore what we could never repair on our own.

God does not command the impossible. He gives you the grace to do what He commands, and His law is ordered to your freedom and flourishing. Stop negotiating with your sin; Christ is not interested in cosmetic reforms but the conversion of the heart. Before you are life and death; stretch out your hand and choose.

Do you know the names of the poor? A life built around comfort and stability can quietly turn suffering into an abstraction and responsibility into someone else’s task. The light of Christ breaks into the world only when the poor are no longer managed as a problem, but known as persons, by name.

Homily for the Third Week of Ordinary Time on January 25, 2026.
Human wisdom leaves us divided and groping in the dark, unable to find unity or truth on our own. God answers this darkness not with better arguments, but with a light that comes from outside it: the wisdom of the cross. Only by turning away from ourselves and gazing upon Christ crucified do we find true light, true unity, and the courage to endure the trials of this life.

Homily for the Second Week of Ordinary Time on January 18, 2026.
Isaiah speaks of a mysterious Servant called to restore Israel and bring light to the nations. In the Gospel, John the Baptist makes clear that he is not that Servant, but a witness who points to Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world. The mission of the Servant continues today through the Church, as Christ’s salvation is made present to the world.

Homily for the Feast of the Baptism of the Lord on January 11, 2026.
Christ did not enter the Jordan because He needed repentance. He stepped into the water to stand with sinners, to take our place, and to transform the crossing itself. Baptism is not simply a ceremony, but a decisive passage into a new identity, one received from the Father, not claimed by the world.

Epiphany is not only a celebration of the light revealed to the nations; it is a moment of decision. When Christ is revealed, no one can remain neutral. As we stand in this light, will we try to control the light like Herod, or worship like the Magi?
